Midlands Regional Events - Smokey Mountains trip to CADES COVE
Our Smokey Mountains trip to CADES COVE is scheduled for Friday thru Sunday the 10-12th of September and it will be led by Charlie Burn. Its not to early to contact him if you want to go on this trip (cell is: 803-318-3255) and just as important that you call now to make reservations at a motel in Townsend Tennessee which is about 15 minutes from the entrance to the Cove. A favorite place of mine in Townsend (clean, reasonable and really nice) is the Tally Ho Inn (phone 865-448-2465). If you google motels in Townsend TN there are lots more. As you know this is a very busy time in Cades Cove so make reservations early or you may be out of luck! We or Charlie in this case can cancel an outing if there is no interest but suspect there will be interest in this outing - its always been great in the past.
